I surfed over to Travel Volume and found a post that discussed [tag-tec]playing golf[/tag-tec] in weather extremes. The post suggested this [tag-tec]golfer[/tag-tec] must be a wimp for ducking in out of the rain. Simply stated, Yes, you are a wimp.
I for one endure almost any weather while pursuing my passion for [tag-tec]golf[/tag-tec].
To hot too play? My [tag-ice]golf course[/tag-ice] regularly sees daytime temperature over 105 in the summer. Those days that soar into the 110's make 105 seem like a cooling trend. But I'm out there.
To wet too play? Conversly winter here brings average annual rainfall of about 28 inches, and yes I have a golf umbrella. Other golf apparel for those rainy days include waterproof golf shoes, waterproof golf gloves, and of course, waterproof rain gear. And still, I am out there.
Here's a reality check. Maybe wimp is favored over crazed. After re-reading what I just wrote I must be crazy for being out there in those conditions. Funny thing is I like it. I guess that is where passion for anything overcomes everything.
Gotta go. A light drizzle has started and my golf umbrella needs dusting off after being stored all summer. Better hurry, my tee time is in forty minutes.

The LPGA's current commissioner, Carolyn Bivens, is quite a controversy. Her negotiations with sponsors seem to go against everything previous commissioner's spent years building.
Please read some her of recent accomplishments at OTB Sports and find it is clear she has her own agenda for the LPGA.
But what is her agenda? If the commissioner would make public what her goals are for the LPGA she may find someone that will support her decisions. I find only negative commentary for any negotiation she enters into. Is she hoping for better tournament sponsor's to fill voids she ruthlessly hacks away? I can only hope she is smart enough to close a deal with a new sponsor before killing a deal with an existing one.
[tag-tec]Women's golf[/tag-tec] needs the [tag-ice]LPGA[/tag-ice] and it seems everyone is commenting Carolyn Bivens will destroy decades of hard work in one term as commissioner.
